Friendly Neighborhood Vampires

For this year's Halloween Contest on the DA club Humorous Art Group.

I haven't been on deviantart in forever, I've been crazy-busy; very sorry I haven't gotten back to all of my messages, I'm working on it, I promise!

For those worried about the poor puppy, no need to be concerned; very soon, he will rise from the grave as undead but adorable Vampire Fido, and assist Vampire Timmy in valuable 1950s educational family life lessons, such as:

- Getting a license for Vampire Timmy's very first hearse
- Why biting a girl on the first date is Very Bad
- Why dinner is the most important meal of the night!
- Don't cry over spilled blood
- Say No to Drugs
- Pick up your litter...yeah, er, give a hoot, don't pollute...
- Probably some stuff about why friendship is important or something, um, I don't know. Power of love, yadda yadda.

As an aside, the very depressing and strange roundabout inspiration for this was actually An American Family, a dreary early reality show about a 1970's American nuclear family; the Mom and Dad went through a divorce on the show. I was just thinking about how the "ideal" nuclear families of the past weren't always so "perfect" (of course, some were very happy, just as some are today; I just don't think that's ever always been the case).

My Halloween idea for Bunnicula (by James Howe) will have to wait for next year.
